None of this means chews are bad or powders are automatically superior; it means the label’s milligram count is the beginning of the evaluation, not the end of it, and a dog’s actual response over a few weeks tells you more than the front-of-package number ever will. If your dog is on a borderline dose for a real clinical reason, that’s a conversation for your veterinarian before you switch forms casually.
